eWAY
eWAY is a merchant (onsite) payment gateway for processing credit cards, popular in the Australian market. Learn more about eWAY on their website at https://www.eway.com.au/. This gateway supports the AUD currency.
Installing eWAY
To install the eWAY payment gateway, visit [Settings] > [Company] > [Payment Gateways] > Available, and click the "Install" button for eWAY.
A message will be displayed, indicating that the payment gateway was successfully installed.
Enter the details provided by eWAY.
| Field Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Customer ID | Enter your eWAY Customer ID (up to 8 characters). |
| Refund Password | Enter the Refund Password you have set in your eWAY account. This is not your eWAY account password. A refund password must be set in order to process refunds through eWAY. |
| Test Mode | Test mode will use an eWAY test account with a test credit card number regardless of what you enter. For more information regarding test mode in eWAY please consult the manual. |
| Developer Mode | Enabling this option will post transactions to the eWAY sandbox environment. You must have a sandbox test account in order to use this environment. |
When finished, click "Update Settings" to save the details. You have successfully installed and configured eWAY!
The gateway can process refunds from within Blesta, but only if the Refund Password field is set. The refund password is configured separately inside your eWAY account.
This gateway requires the PHP libxml and simplexml extensions.
