BitPay
BitPay is a non-merchant (offsite) payment gateway for accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies — clients are redirected to a BitPay-hosted invoice to pay. Sign up for an account at https://bitpay.com/signup/. Invoices may be denominated in BTC or virtually any fiat currency.
Installing BitPay
To install the BitPay payment gateway, visit [Settings] > [Company] > [Payment Gateways] > Available, and click the "Install" button for Bitpay.
A message will be displayed, indicating that the payment gateway was successfully installed.
Pairing with BitPay
Unlike most gateways, BitPay does not use typed-in API credentials. When you first open the gateway settings, Blesta generates an API key pair and requests a token from BitPay, then displays a Pairing Code.
Go to the BitPay dashboard to the "Payment Tools" > "API Tokens" section and approve the generated token using the displayed pairing code (or click the "Connect with BitPay" button), then save the gateway settings by clicking "Update Settings". Once paired, the settings page shows a "Disconnect from BitPay" button, which clears the stored keys and token.

| Transaction Speed | Select "High", "Medium", or "Low". The transaction speed determines how quickly an invoice (in BitPay) can be considered "confirmed". |
| Test Mode | If checked, the gateway will send payment requests to the test URL (test.bitpay.com). Changing this disconnects BitPay and generates a new token, so the pairing step must be repeated against your test account. |
Blesta sets the notification URL on each BitPay invoice automatically (e.g. https://yourdomain.com/callback/gw/1/bitpay/, where 1 is your company ID). No manual IPN configuration is required in the BitPay dashboard.
The gateway supports refunds from within Blesta. Refunds are issued through BitPay using the buyer's email address from the original invoice.
