Converge
Converge (formerly VirtualMerchant) is Elavon's merchant (onsite) payment gateway for processing credit cards. It supports charges, authorizations, captures, voids, and refunds, in a wide range of currencies. Learn more about Converge at https://support.convergepay.com/s/.
Installing Converge
To install the Converge payment gateway, visit [Settings] > [Company] > [Payment Gateways] > Available, and click the "Install" button for Converge.
A message will be displayed, indicating that the payment gateway was successfully installed.
Enter the details provided by Converge.
| Field Name | Description |

| Merchant ID | Enter your Converge Merchant ID. |
| User ID | Enter your Converge User ID. |
| PIN | Enter your Converge PIN. |
| Live Mode | Check this option to process real transactions. When unchecked, transactions are sent to the Converge demo environment. |
| Converge Account is setup for Multi Currency | Select "Yes" if your Converge account is configured for multi-currency processing, so the currency code is sent with each transaction. Otherwise select "No". |
When finished, click "Update Settings" to save the details. You have successfully installed and configured Converge!
Leaving "Live Mode" unchecked sends all transactions to the Converge demo environment. Be sure to check it before accepting real payments.
